Established in 1959, the LAA was created for the sole purpose of promoting, encouraging and supporting education in the visual arts. Today, the LAA operates and maintains an art gallery and gift shop, including several satellite galleries. The LAA hosts a variety of annual exhibitions, as well as provides workshops and classes for children and adults.
