Creative Arts Workshop located in New Haven’s Audubon Arts District is seeking teaching artists with prior experience working with children to help with our summer programming and after school classes. Preferred applicants will have experience working with different media including, painting and drawing, clay, fiber, and printmaking. College or grad students pursuing their degree in arts education are strongly encouraged to apply. Employment is contingent upon adequate enrollment in the summer programs. Excellent opportunity for a teaching assistant looking to gain experience in developing curriculum. The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with children ages 4 - 12 Available to work during the summer months Available for half-day or full-day depending on class schedule. Starting Salary is $28 per hour.
