Media accepted: Painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, mixed media, installation, and new/alternative visual art forms. Not accepted: Film/video, music, theater, dance. Past winners are not eligible to apply again. We showcase grantees on our website, social media, and marketing materials. We also feature selected applicants (with permission) on our social media to celebrate and promote artists. We hope this provides insight into the wide range of creative efforts we consider. Artists retain their copyrights. How To Apply By November 15, email the following to submit@artistgrant.org: A link to your website Let us know if we have your permission to share your name, artwork, and website link on our social media OR 3–5 images of your artwork (JPG, PNG, or PDF) A resume, CV, or brief bio that includes your name Let us know if we have your permission to share your name, artwork, and website link on our social media No grant proposal required! Then, pay the $30 application fee easily and securely using your preferred payment method through Stripe: Selection Criteria We seek: A cohesive body of work Well-crafted work Well-presented work (with an understanding that artists have varying financial means and resources for presenting their work) Work that communicates its viewpoint, ideas, and concepts clearly, effectively, and creatively Work that is not derivative All applicants are notified of grant results within 6–8 weeks after each application deadline. We also announce the results on our website, social media, and in our newsletter. Please note that we’re unable to respond to individual inquiries about results during the review period.
